The Marine Corps puts out a reading list called the MARINE CORPS PROFESSIONAL READING LIST for all Marines. It carries a majority of the titles at the Library of the Marine Corps either in print or via the Ebrary Online Books subscription (available only for Marines). You can also find many titles at Navy Knowledge Online (NKO). Each Marine is required to read the Commandant’s choice “First to Fight” by LtGen (Ret) V. Krulak and a minimum of one book per grade per year.

That’s quite a list! Impressive choice. Interesting how they’re grouped according to career stage too. I must admit though, it’s nice to see that our military is encouraged to use such reading material as part of their continuing education.
