I am the Bobby McBride that wrote “Everything I ever needed to know I learned as a helicopter crewman in Vietnam”. The submitter of this article did not contact me to obtain permission to use it, nor did she request permission to change the wording.
I wrote this to honor the Vietnam Helicopter Veterans. They, and only they, can truly appreciate what I was saying.
