Wednesday Hero: Maj. Edward Cragg

September 8, 1919 – December 26, 1943

Maj. Edward “Porky” Cragg was a triple Ace in WWII with 15 confirmed kills who was shot down over Papua New Guinea and listed as MIA.You can read more about Maj. Cragg here

These brave men and women sacrifice so much in their lives so that others may enjoy the freedoms we get to enjoy everyday. For that, I am proud to call them Hero.
We Should Not Only Mourn These Men And Women Who Died, We Should Also Thank God That Such People Lived

  1. Major Cragg’s accomplishments listed in Wiki would be difficult to compete with – an amazing man chosen for the Wednesday Hero and he deserves it!

    • Since he’s MIA, it would be nice to think he lived out a long happy life hidden away somewhere with amnesia.

      • You never know, it did happen to a Green Beret in Nam.
