You Want to go Navy Air? Here’s What You’ll Fly

Your Firstie Year at USNA, you get to select which service you join upon commissioning. Lots of Mids select Navy Air. Why? Take a look at what you could be flying:

The F-35B short takeoff/vertical landing variant completed ship suitability testing aboard the USS WASP (LHD-1) off the coast of Virginia in October 2011. Combined, F-35B test aircraft BF-2 and BF-4 accomplished 72 short takeoffs and 72 vertical landings during the three-week testing period.

  1. Love watching these videos! Those carrier takeoffs and landings are just amazing.

    • How could anyone watch that and not want to fly one of those beauties? The amount of smarts those guys/gals must have is amazing.
